Peninsula Fiber Network Announces Promotion of Todd Proehl to Chief Information Officer

Peninsula Fiber Network (PFN) yesterday announced the promotion of Todd Proehl to Chief Information Officer (CIO), expanding the company’s executive leadership team as PFN invests in technology, innovation, automation, and advanced telecommunications services.

In the CIO role, Proehl will lead PFN’s enterprise technology strategy, including information technology, business systems, data and analytics, artificial intelligence, automation, cybersecurity governance, and digital transformation. He will also play a strategic role in product development, emerging technology evaluation, and technology and vendor partnerships that support PFN’s continued growth.

“Technology is increasingly intertwined with every part of our business,” said Cory Heigl, Chief Executive Officer of Peninsula Fiber Network. “As PFN grows, we want to be intentional about how we use technology, data, automation, and AI to improve our business while identifying new technologies, partnerships, and service opportunities that create value for our customers.”

Todd has been with PFN for nearly 15 years and most recently served as Director of Technical Operations. “Todd was one of the first employees at PFN,” continued Heigl. “PFN wouldn’t be what it has become, without him”
